Tibetan Spiritual Leader The Dalai Lama, the granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi, Ela Gandhi and Tibet’s prime minister-in-exile, Lobsang Sangay attend a function during which the Nobel Peace Prize winner was awarded the Mahatma Gandhi International Award for Peace and Reconciliation of 2011 yesterday. The award was presented by Ela Gandhi during the fourth day of the Kalachakra Festival in Bodhgaya, a Buddhist holy site about 110km from Bihar’s capital Patna. The 10-day Kalachakra 2012, a festival of teachings and meditations, started on January 1.
