New recruits of the paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) hold the Indian national flag during a passing-out parade ceremony in Humhama on the outskirts of Srinagar yesterday. Six hundred and sixteen constables were formally inducted into the BSF after completing 38 weeks of training. The BSF has trained thousands of recruits since its inception, which include some 2,125 Kashmiri youth, who are now performing their duty in various parts of India.
