New artwork "Zephyr" unveiled on the West Bay North beach

The Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads & Public Places in Qatar, in cooperation with Qatar Museums, unveiled the artwork “Zephyr” by artist Monira Al Qadiri on the West Bay North beach.

The artwork represents microscopic organisms that the artist embodied into sculptures lit from the inside to reflect their vibrant nature and shed light on the marine environment in Qatar and to educate about other sources of oxygen and the importance of preserving marine life.
