Sudanese official rejects malicious smear campaigns against Qatar

The malicious smear campaigns against Qatar will not disrupt cause any disruptions to the country, which began early in organising an exceptional and historic tournament that not only represents Qatar, but is also an event for all Arabs. The head of the Sudanese association pointed out that all Arabs are proud of Qatar for hosting the tournament for the first time in the Middle East, which made some others disappointed. He added that Qatar will organise the tournament at the highest levels, especially as it enjoys a good reputation earned through hosting major tournaments, according to a report in local Arabic daily Arrayah.Dr Mutasim stressed that the Sudanese association has distinguished relations with the Qatar Football Association, and they have confidence that Qatar will stage an exceptional tournament that will send a message to the whole world confirming the ability of Arabs to organise a World Cup that will be wonderful, unique and different.With regard to sports facilities and stadiums, he said: "The splendour of the stadiums, the tight organisation and the huge capabilities are a matter of pride for us as Arabs. This increases our confidence that Qatar will organise the best World Cup ever at all levels."He stressed that "Qatar is ready, and everything is ready to host the World Cup, considering that this tournament will be an exceptional version in all respects - at the level of infrastructure, transportation, housing and good media marketing".
