Assistant FM meets top OIC official

 HE Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohamed AlKhater, met on Thursday with Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Humanitarian Funds of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC) Sheikh Dr Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan al-Thani. During the meeting, the efforts of the organisation's humanitarian funds at the regional and international levels were reviewed, especially its effective humanitarian role in OIC member states, such as Somalia, Afghanistan, Sierra Leone and Sudan, in addition to discussing a number of topics of common interest, especially in the field of humanitarian work.(QNA)
