Police College receives 9th batch of cadets

The new cadets started the 50-day first foundational period, during which they learn military discipline in preparation for their transition from civilian to military life.
The Police College received Sunday the ninth batch cadets, including 148 students, after completing all the necessary procedures for admission.The new cadets started the 50-day first foundational period, during which they learn military discipline and linkage in preparation for their transition from civilian to military life.In a statement on the occasion, the Director of the Training Department at the Police College, Lt Col Fahd Saeed al-Subaie, said the college received Sunday, 148 cadets, including 16 cadets from Jordan and two from Libya, to start the first foundational period.
He explained that the essence of the foundational period is self-reliance, patience, psychological pressure, and going through daily activities according to military orders.He pointed out that the college has developed a programme for students in accordance with the climatic conditions. He stated that the Police College's Training Department relies on training plans that are considered the best in the world, and are implemented according to professional methods by officers and trainers with a high-level of qualification and professional competence. He added that the training programmes are constantly updated to keep pace with recent developments in the science of training.Lt Col Fahd al-Subaie called on the new cadets to co-operate with the trainers and obey the orders. Also, he urged them to adhere to the laws and regulations of the college, make all efforts in their next term, and benefit from the training, practical and theoretical experiences during the foundational period and beyond.The Director of the Training Department of the Police College expressed his hope that this batch would preserve the good path and reputation of the college, which their colleagues of the previous batches achieved.For his part, Capt Saud Mohamed al-Tamimi, commander of the batch, said that the Police College always aspires for excellence, pointing to the collegetarget="_blank"'>
