UDST delivers training program for Ashghal administrative staff

The Continuing and Professional Education Directorate has tailored the training program and courses based on the administrative needs of Ashghal.
University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) held a certificate distribution ceremony for the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) staff following the completion of a 14-week training program on Administrative Development. The Continuing and Professional Education Directorate has tailored the training program and courses based on the administrative needs of Ashghal. The program consisted of four modules: workplace professionalism, computer applications, Microsoft Excel and General English. The training provided the staff with theoretical knowledge and applied skills related to communication, business etiquette, time management, customer service, business meetings, office management, relationship building and more.President of UDST Dr Salem Al-Naemi said: "It was a pleasure to collaborate with Ashghal on this particular initiative. We appreciate the trust that was put in our university to deliver this training. Learning is a never-ending process and as an applied university, our commitment does not end at graduation. We are keen on providing customised training solutions to suit the development requirements of working professionals within the public and private sectors. We look forward to future collaborations and we wish the participants, success and achievement in their professional life."The Director of UDSTs Continuing and Professional Education Directorate Dr Saheim Khalaf al-Temimi said: "We are celebrating today the outcome of a long-standing collaboration with Ashghal. CPE has provided the administrative staff of the company with skills, information and the ability to apply their practical knowledge to the workplace. The agreements we have signed with a number of world-class educational partners enable us to offer internationally recognised programs to professionals in Qatar and give the opportunities to our trainees to compete not only at a national level but also at an international level.
