Qatari pilgrims to return Wednesday, Thursday after Haj

Various groups of Qatari pilgrims will return Wednesday to the country after performing Haj in Makkah. The last group is set to return Thursday. The pilgrims, according to a statement from the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) were thankful and expressed their happiness for getting the opportunity to perform Haj with ease.
Awqaf's Haj and Umrah Department head Ali Sultan al-Misifri praised the efforts made by Saudi Arabia to receive the pilgrims and the arrangements made to serve the pilgrims. The official, who expressed his deep appreciation to the Saudi government and noted that the pilgrims were well served and their security and safety ensured.Al-Misifri also praised the co-operation of the Saudi Ministry of Haj and Umrah and the Tawafa Company for Pilgrims of the South Asian Countries. There was great co-operation between the Qatari mission and the two parties in making the arrangements in Makkah and the holy sites in Mina, Arafa and Muzdalifah for the pilgrims, he said.“This year's Haj season was distinguished and exceptional for Qatari pilgrims with all arrangements in place for the completion of all the rituals easily,” he said. The preparations for the next Haj season will be done taking into consideration any proposals from pilgrims and Haj operators so as to further improve the services and amenities.
Al-Misifri credited the efforts of the Qatari Haj mission, with the continuous support and follow-up of HE the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, for the largest role in managing the affairs of Qatartarget="_blank"'>
