QCB settles over 3,000 cheques on first day of extending work of ECC

Qatar Central Bank (QCB) revealed that it settled more than 3,000 cheques worth QR80mn on the first day of extending the work of the Electronic Check Conversion (ECC).
Earlier this month, QCB announced the extension of the ECC system, directing all banks to implement the cheque conversion service throughout the week, including weekends and during all official holidays.
