Application deadline for the Japanese government scholarship MEXT 2023 is extended

The Embassy of Japan in Qatar announced that the application deadline for the Japanese Government Scholarship MEXT 2023 has been extended until June 19.

The MEXT scholarship is offered annually by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan to Qatari nationals who wish to study at Japanese universities as undergraduate or research students. Eligible applicants must be a citizen of Qatar, born on or after April 2, 1998 for undergraduate degrees and on or after April 2, 1988 for post-graduate degrees, who is interested in Japan and in principle, willing to carry out their academic studies in Japanese language.Japan possesses prestigious universities that are placed among the top 100 institutions on the universities global ranking and which are known for their excellence in research and teaching.
