Shura Speaker meets delegation of League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah al-Ghanim met on Sunday with the visiting delegation of members of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, headed by President of the League Hamid ben Abdullah al-Ahmar.

At the outset of the meeting, the League delegation expressed appreciation for the efforts made by Qatar in accordance with the wise directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, in support of the Palestinian cause and the solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people at all levels.During the meeting, they also reviewed a number of topics related to the enhancement and co-ordination between the Shura Council and the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds in a way that serves the Palestinian cause. They also discussed ways to strengthen parliamentarians' co-operation and to co-ordinate positions in various regional and international parliamentary forums, in order to support the Palestinian cause.
