Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced Wednesday the deaths of three more Palestinians from famine and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition to 269, including 112 children.Meanwhile, the humanitarian crisis continues to spread and worsen due to the ongoing Israeli siege of all Gaza crossings and the shortage of food and medical supplies. The severe famine is intertwined with the genocidal war waged by the occupation against the population of the Strip since Oct. 7, 2023.The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has warned of the effects of malnutrition among children under the age of five, with the number doubling between March and June as a result of the ongoing siege. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization has confirmed that malnutrition rates in Gaza have reached catastrophic levels due to Israeli practices and the delay in the entry of aid to the population.
