The Saudi club Al-Nassr announced Sunday the official signing of the Spanish defender Inigo Martinez from Barcelona on a free transfer.Al-Nassr clarified in a statement on its official website that Martínez's contract extends until 2026.Martinez joined Barcelona in the summer of 2023 following a professional tenure with Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad.He played a prominent role in Barcelona's domestic treble last season, securing La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup titles.He represents Al-Nassr's fourth signing this summer, following the Portuguese Joao Felix and the Saudi duo Abdulmalik Al Jaber and Nader Al Sharari.Al-Nassr is conducting an external training camp in Portugal ahead of the new season, which will commence with a showdown against Al-Ittihad in the semi-final of the 2025 Saudi Super Cup, set to be hosted in Hong Kong from Aug. 19 to 23
