Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday detained 12 Palestinians, including three women, in the Hebron Governorate after storming their homes, searching them, and tampering with their contents.Palestinian news agency (WAFA), citing security and local sources, reported that Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Dura, south of Hebron, and arrested a number of Palestinians. The forces also set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron, its towns, villages and refugee camps, and closed a number of main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.Raids and arrests have significantly escalated since the start of the genocide war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, affecting various Palestinian governorates. Thousands of young men and numerous areas have been targeted, making these operations one of the main tools of the "collective punishment policy" against the Palestinian people.
