Amiri Guard concludes 'Striking Force' joint exercise

The exercise was held at the Lahsaniya camp and concluded Wednesday morning.
The Amiri Guard concluded the 10-day "Striking Force" joint exercise in co-operation with the Jordanian Special Royal Guard, in the presence of HE Commander of the Amiri Guard Staff Lieutenant-General Hazza bin Khalil al-Shahwani, QNA reported.The exercise, which was held at the Lahsaniya camp and concluded Wednesday, was also attended by Inspector General of the Qatar Ministry of Defence Staff Major-General Rashid bin Nasser al-Fhaid al-Hajri, Inspector General of the Jordanian Armed Forces Brigadier-General Sedqi Abdul Salem al-Rawashdeh, Commander of Jordanian Special Royal Guard Colonel Hamad Suleiman al-Jaafra, the Inspector General of the Amiri Guard, assistants to the Commander of the Amiri Guard, the Jordanian military attache to Qatar, and several senior officers of the Amiri Guard.
Assistant Commander of the Amiri Guard for Operations and Training Colonel Jassim Abdullah al-Muraiziq said that the "Striking Force" exercise comes in light of joint co-operation with the Jordanian Special Royal Guard to enhance the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries, explaining that the joint exercises contribute to providing the trainees combat experience for the benefit of both sides, by building a spirit of co-operation and closer relations between the participating elements.
He stressed that the exercise is of great importance as it comes within the framework of the security preparations related to the organisation of the FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by Qatar at the end of 2022, explaining that the final presentation of the exercise had clear and tangible results, achieved the desired goals, and reflected the traineestarget="_blank"'>
