FM meets UN Special Envoy for Syria

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met on Monday with the visiting UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the Syrian crisis and the importance of continuing to facilitate humanitarian access to all Syrians, in addition to the importance of reaching a political solution that ends the crisis and the suffering of the Syrian people in accordance with the Geneva 1 Declaration and Security Council Resolution 2254.
