Amir holds phone call with Kazakh president

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held a telephone conversation Saturday with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev regarding the developments in Kazakhstan.The president briefed the Amir on the efforts being made to calm the situation and enhance security and stability in Kazakhstan.For his part, the Amir expressed his confidence in the ability of the Kazakh authorities to overcome the crisis and return things to normal in the brotherly country.During the call, they reviewed the friendship and co-operation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them.
