The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 58,765 martyrs, in addition to 140,485 wounded.The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported today that over the past 48 hours, hospitals in the Strip received 98 martyrs, including three whose bodies were recovered, in addition to 511 wounded. It noted that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.The casualties count since March 18 has risen to 7,938 martyrs, in addition to 28,444 wounded.The Ministry reported that 14 of the martyrs and 94 of the wounded over the past 48 hours were victims at aid distribution centers, bringing the total number of individuals killed while seeking basic sustenance to 891, with more than 5,754 others injured.The Gaza Strip has been enduring continuous Israeli aggression since October 2023, resulting in widespread destruction and the mass displacement of residents. This escalation unfolds amid mounting international warnings about a deepening humanitarian crisis, with clear indications of an impending famine threatening the lives of thousands of Palestinians.
