Qatar participates in 37th meeting of GCC Directors of Drug Control Agencies in Riyadh

Qatar is participating in the 37th meeting of the Directors of Drug Control Agencies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, being held at the headquarters of the Council's General Secretariat in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from Jun 25 to 26.The Qatari Ministry of Interior delegation to the meeting is headed by Director General of Drug Control Colonel Rashid Saree al-Kaabi. Participants will discuss means to enhance co-operation and joint co-ordination in combating drug crimes, exchange expertise, and develop preventive and security efforts across the GCC countries. The Qatari delegation is also participating in the activities of the GCC Anti-Drug Week, which aims to raise community awareness of the dangers of drugs and ways to prevent them.
