The Al Rawabi Group of Companies has successfully conducted its second annual town hall meeting as part of its continued commitment to employee engagement, recognition, and empowerment, a statement said.The event was inaugurated by managing director Mohammed Abdulla, in the presence of chairman M P Abdulla Haji, Five Group Trading managing director K K Usman, Al Rawabi Group directors Muhammed Sadik, Harris Thayyil and general manager Kannu Baker.The meeting honoured employees who completed 25 and 15 years of service, as well as outstanding performers from each division, recognised as the Best Staff of the Year.Naushad K T K, assistant general manager, Wholesale Division, and Ismail V P, purchase manager, were celebrated for their 25 years of dedicated service.In a gesture of appreciation, the chairman and board of directors presented both leaders with the keys of a Thar Roxx SUV each, reflecting Al Rawabi’s gratitude for their loyalty and commitment. Their heartfelt words – narrating their humble beginnings and journey to leadership – served as an inspiration to all staff members.In addition, 25 employees from various divisions who completed 15 years of service were also honoured, each sharing personal reflections of growth, support, and the deep bond they share with the organisation.In his keynote address, managing director Mohammed Abdulla, said: "Al Rawabi’s greatest strength is our people. Al Rawabi's journey is incomplete without its people — and together, we will continue to grow.”Adding depth to the session, renowned financial educator K V Shamsudheen was invited to deliver a special address on Personal Financial Discipline, guiding employees on building long-term savings and financial stability.The event also featured personal stories from the directors of Al Rawabi Group, who shared their entrepreneurial journey, the values that shaped the company, and their vision for the future.The meeting concluded on a high note with a collective message from the leadership team: "We are not just a company, we are a family.
