Al Jasra Cultural and Social Club hosted the Filipino community in Doha, offering a variety of activities as part of the Filipino community's celebration of the 127th anniversary of Philippine Independence over three days. The first day's programme included cutting the opening ribbon, playing the Qatari and Philippine national anthems, and a welcoming speech for the guests and members of the Al Jasra Club's Board of Directors. Dance performances were also presented, and certificates were distributed to school students. The second day featured a cultural performance, a dinner in honour of the Philippine ambassador, a cake-cutting ceremony, and various activities, including fashion shows for children. The ceremony included the distribution of certificates to Filipino school students in Doha.The third day's programme included artistic activities, a display of paintings, and live drawing, in addition to the distribution of certificates to outstanding students in various fields, a tradition that took place daily during the celebrations. The Filipino community flocked in large numbers of people of all ages to Al Jasra Club, which was a hive of activity throughout the days of the events, making the celebration a great success and well-received by all.Finally, Mohammed Saeed Ibrahim, the financial director and supervisor of the celebration, honoured the representatives of the Filipino community in appreciation of their role and efforts in implementing and ensuring the success of this joint effort, which achieved remarkable success and was praised by all who witnessed it.
