Action taken against company for storing expired food items

The Ministry of Municipality, in co-operation with the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, recently carried out a joint inspection campaign that resulted in the detection of a food storage facility violating the laws.

The warehouse is located in the Birkat Al Awamer area.

The authorities concerned had earlier received information that a company was storing and repacking expired food products, in addition to hiring some persons who violated the residency laws. Accordingly, there was co-ordination among the Ministry of Municipality, the Ministry of Interiortarget="_blank"'>
