Qatar Chamber board member Fahad bin Mohamed Buzuwair held a meeting with a business delegation from the Florida-based Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce and Industry, headed by its president and CEO, Douglas Evans, at the chamber’s Lusail headquarters.The discussions focused on strengthening economic and trade relations between Qatar and the US, particularly exploring investment opportunities in key sectors, such as infrastructure, technology, renewable energy, healthcare, and tourism, among others.Buzuwair emphasised the depth of cooperative relations between Qatar and the US, highlighting the potential for enhanced collaboration between the Qatari private sector and its counterpart in Palm Beach City.He noted that Qatar offers a safe and stable environment for investment, supported by world-class infrastructure, attractive investment incentives, and plenty of promising opportunities across its free and industrial zones. He also urged the American side to explore the numerous investment avenues available in Qatar and to take advantage of the incentives and facilities offered to foreign investors.For his part, Evans expressed his interest in fostering closer ties with Qatar’s business community. He invited Qatar Chamber and Qatari business owners to visit Palm Beach to explore potential areas of co-operation and investment.He also invited Qatari business owners to participate in the Flagler Forum, scheduled to take place from April 5–7, 2026, a prominent global platform for discussing international challenges and advancing dialogue on economic collaboration.
