Qatar Charity (QC) hosted a fun day for more than 500 sponsored orphans from Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir provinces, a statement said.An awareness walk was also organised to highlight the rights of orphaned children and to advocate for their protection, inclusion, and empowerment within society."I lost my father at a very young age,” said 14-year-old Sehar Sarfraz. "Since then, Qatar Charity has supported my education and healthcare. I participate in all its programmes and events with great enthusiasm.”Nine-year-old Ahmed Gul echoed her excitement, saying: "I am passionate about boxing and dream of becoming a professional boxer one day. I am thankful to Qatar Charity and my sponsors for supporting my dreams.”Six-year-old Maham Javed shared her enjoyment: "I love painting and playing with colours. These activities are so much fun – full of creativity and joy."The number of those sponsored through the QC’s "Rofaqa” initiative reached 11,884: 10,904 orphans, 362 needy families, 281 people with special needs, and 337 higher education students.
