The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) launched an initiative to reduce prices at restaurants and cafés operating during the winter camping season at the Sealine area, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC).This initiative forms part of MoCI’s efforts to enhance the availability of restaurant and café services at reasonable prices and to support commercial activities associated with the camping season, which extends until April 15, 2026.As part of the initiative, participating restaurants and cafés are offering discounts of up to 30%, contributing to the provision of affordable services for visitors to the camping area throughout the season.According to MoCI, the discounts apply exclusively to restaurants and cafés participating in the initiative. Consumers are encouraged to verify the presence of the official initiative sticker bearing the phrase: “Participant in the Reduced Service Prices Initiative for the 2025–2026 Camping Season.”In this regard, the Quality License and Market Control Department at MoCI, in coordination with the Natural Reserves Department at MoECC, is overseeing the regulation of restaurant and café activities in the area. This includes issuing temporary price lists for establishments that meet the required conditions.Additional measures also include circulating regulatory controls and instructions to licensed establishments, monitoring consumer feedback and complaints, and taking the necessary actions to enhance compliance levels and the quality of services provided to visitors and campers. The initiative contributes to increased consumer satisfaction by offering reasonably priced options, alongside the provision of high-quality services during the winter camping season.
