NHRC official meets Arab League delegation

Secretary-General of the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) Maryam bint Abdullah al-Attiyah met Monday with a delegation of the Charter Committee of the Arab League, headed by Chairperson of the Charter Committee Jaber al-Huwail. During the meeting, they discussed means of co-operation in issues of joint interest, and ways to exchange experience and expertise between the two sides. Al-Attiyah briefed the Charter Committee on NHRC, its specialties, objectives, working mechanisms and legal nature.
