Qatari naval ship launched in Turkey

Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Hassan al-Sulaiti, Commander of the Qatar Amiri Naval Forces, launched Qatari warship 'Al-Abrar Fuwairit' (Type LCT80) in Turkey, the Ministry of Defence said in a post on social media Saturday. He was accompanied by Admiral Adnan Ozbal, Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Mohamed Rashid al-Awami, Qatari military attaché in Ankara, senior officials of Barzan Holdings and Anadolu Shipyard, and a number of senior officers from the Qatari and Turkish sides. It included a tour of the Anadolu shipbuilding factory in Istanbul.
