82% of Al Wakra Main Road project completed

The completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022.While announcing the completion of the works of the Pearl Intersection on Al Wakra Main Road, Ashghal recently announced that it has completed 82% of the road works.Once complete, the project will improve traffic conditions between Doha, Al Wakra, and the southern areas of the country, while reducing pressure on existing roads in other areas of Al Wakra by 60%.Apart from the Pearl Intersection, Ashghal has so far completed many components of the project.The intersection between Al Wakra Road and Ras Bu Fontas Street, which is located on Al Wakra Tunnel, has been partially opened to traffic.The recent openings are integrated with Al Wakra Metro Station, one of Qatar Railtarget="_blank"'>
