552 referred to prosecution for Covid violations

The designated authorities referred 552 people to the prosecution for violating the preventive and precautionary measures enforced by the country to contain the spread of Covid-19, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Tuesday.
Among them, 355 people were referred to the prosecution for not wearing masks in places where they are mandatory, 193 for not maintaining safe physical distancing, two for not installing the Ehteraz app and two persons for violating the rule on the number of passengers allowed in a vehicle.The measure is in line with the Cabinet decision, Decree Law No 17 of 1990 on infectious diseases, and the precautionary measures in force in the country to contain the spread of Covid-19.
