Customs foils bid to smuggle 17.5 Kg of marijuana

The General Authority of Customs said Monday that the Air Cargo and Special Airports Department foiled an attempt to smuggle 17.5 Kg of  marijuana in to the country. The contraband was being hidden in the compressors of air conditioners, the Authority said in a tweet.
