369 referred to prosecution for Covid-19 violations

The designated authorities have referred 369 people to the prosecution for violating the preventive and precautionary measures enforced by the country to contain the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Wednesday.
Among them, 294 people were referred to the prosecution for not wearing masks in places where they are mandatory, 66 for not maintaining safe physical distancing, seven for violating quarantine requirements, and two for not installing the Ehteraz app.The measure is in line with the Cabinet decision, Decree Law No 17 of 1990 on infectious diseases, and the precautionary measures in force in the country to contain the spread of Covid-19.
