QNL president receives Peruvian envoy

HE Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kawari, president Qatar National Library (QNL), met with Jose A Benzaquen, ambassador of Peru in Qatar. They exchanged ideas and discussed the bilateral relationship between Qatar and Peru as well as the promotion of the Qatari and Peruvian cultures, according to a statement from the embassy of Peru.

Dr al-Kawari highlighted the importance of education, and that of the libraries of both countries. "Dr al-Kawari said he looks forward to signing an agreement between Qatar National Library and the Peruvian National Library," the statement added.
