HMC announces updated visitor policy for non-Covid hospitals

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced an updated visitor policy for non-Covid-19 hospitals.

"Visiting hours for Hamad Medical Corporation non-Covid-19 facilities will be from 12.30pm to 8pm daily," HMC said in a tweet yesterday.All other measures remain in place, which are as follows: * Visitors are required to display the green Ehteraz status, wear a mask and undergo a temperature check before entry.* Only one visitor is allowed at a time for a maximum of one hour, with a maximum of three visitors a day during public visiting hours. Escorts are not allowed.* Food, flowers, drinks and chocolates are not allowed to be brought into the facilities.* Children under 15 years old are not permitted to visit patients.Visitors are not permitted in the designated Covid-19 hospitals - Communicable Disease Center, Hazm Mebeireek General Hospital, The Cuban Hospital and Mesaieed Hospital.
