MoI honours child, woman for helping save lives

The South Security Department at the General Directorate of Public Security, Ministry of Interior (MoI), has honoured two persons for saving lives.
In a post on social media Sunday, the MoI said the South Security Department honoured a 12-year-old girl, Rimas Rashid al-Afifa al-Marri, in appreciation of her efforts to save the life of her uncle, who experienced a health emergency at home.
The girl administered the necessary first aid to her uncle before seeking help by calling the emergency number, 999. Rimas's father received the honour on her behalf and thanked the MoI, describing it as a generous gesture indicating concern for the safety of community members.
