Qatar slams church blast in Indonesia

Qatar has strongly condemned the explosion that occurred in a Catholic church in the Indonesian city of Makassar, in which a number of people were injured. In a statement issued Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes, and stressed the State's total rejection of targeting places of worship and terrorising innocents. Qatar wished a speedy recovery for the wounded, the statement added.
