Good turnout of elderly to get Covid-19 vaccine

There is a remarkable demand from those aged 65 and above to receive the Covid-19 vaccine during the ongoing first phase of the vaccination campaign, Dr Hanadi al-Hamad, medical director of Rumaila Hospital and Qatar Rehabilitation Center, said, according to local Arabic daily Arrayah.

The day clinic at Rumaila Hospital provides vaccinations to bedridden patients under home care and who have difficulty reaching health centres. Rumaila Hospital contacts them to give the vaccine, she told a Qatar TV programme titled 'Social Distance'.
