In continuation of ‘Qatar Beautification and our Kids Planting Trees’ campaign, trees were planted at Arab League Street Wednesday. According to a tweet by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), the event was organised by the Supervisory Committee
of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar at Ashghal in coordination with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME). Students of Noor Al Khaleej International School and Newton International Academy participated.While attending the event, Meshaal al-Nuaimi, Central Municipal Council member -
Constituency 18, thanked the supervisory committee for the great initiative to afforest all regions of Qatar. “We witnessed a significant positive change in development of areas in recent years, especially in Constituency 18 during the last year,” al-Nuaimi said.
