Nearly 1,161 tonnes of locally produced vegetables sold in October

Nearly 1,161 tonnes of locally produced vegetables were sold in October through the Premium products and Qatar Farms programmes. This included 351 tonnes for the premium products and around 810 tonnes through Qatar Farms. These marketing programmes are supervised by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in co-operation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to improve the marketing of locally produced farm products and encourage investment in these fields.
