Al Darwish Jewellery is hogging the limelight at the 20th Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) with unique pieces on display and over 20 brands exhibiting under its umbrella."So far, the DJWE 2024 is quite busy for us. Almost 10 new brands have joined us this year with their exclusive and modern pieces,” said Al Darwish Jewellery chairman Abdallah Jassim al-Darwish."We have been participating in the DJWE for the last eight years ... every year we try to be different,” he said. "We pick and filter our partners in such a way that we present something new to our customers.”"I am glad that our partners have added a lot of variety to this milestone edition,” al-Darwish added."People come to us to buy specifically designed pieces and stones, and I am happy that our partners have come to meet the expectations of our customers this year as well,” he said. "People buy pieces from us as an investment and get full value for their invested money.”The DJWE is a great platform to showcase new products and find a variety of customers, al-Darwish said, adding: "This mega jewellery exhibition also serves as an ideal platform to learn new things and understand the changing demand of customers better.”"We take it seriously to build up our knowledge so that we can cater to our clients with the right information and consultancy when they want to buy a piece,” he added. "It's a continuous learning process for us.”"There is no doubt that marketing plays a vital role in reaching out to new customers, and the DJWE is the ideal platform to market your products,” al-Darwish explained."In my opinion, Qataris should give more importance to gems and jewellery products sold in Qatar, so that they do not need to fly to other countries for such products,” he remarked. "Everything is available here now. Also, the authorities should make it easier for both the exhibitors and visitors to take part in this exhibition.”"Over the years, the DJWE has emerged as one of the best exhibitions for jewellery in the region, and we do see people from other countries,” al-Darwish continued. "More efforts should be made to increase this number. We are ready to cater to the demands of both domestic and international customers.”"It was a very busy exhibition for us as our permanent outlets at the Al Darwish Jewellery showroom have made us more popular in Qatar,” staff manning Al Darwish Jewellery’s pavilion at the DJWE said.Italian brand Moratti, which entered the Middle East market with its first outlet in Qatar almost two years ago, was the point of reference for its extraordinary creations at the pavilion."Each piece is a work of art that comes from a journey between multi-ethnic cultures and is brought to life by the hands of fine Italian craftsmen,” a Moratti official said.Founded in the Italian city of Florence and inspired by the world, Morrati is a luxury jewellery brand known for the creation of extraordinary fine jewellery that celebrates femininity in all its beauty and modernity, blending years of experience with world-class design."We have introduced a good number of new designs at the exhibition,” the official said. "Each of our designs is a result of an exhilarating journey between multi-ethnic cultures and influences, through nature.”"Translated into reality by the hands of fine Italian craftsmen, each Moratti masterpiece is a work of art brought to life and tells a different story, a story that we are now proud enough to share with people in Qatar,” he added."Our association with Al Darwish family and the liking for our products among Qataris always give us the confidence to participate in this mega exhibition,” the official said. "We have been receiving a very good response ever since this exhibition opened. Our goal is always to meet expectations, especially of our female clients in Qatar.”
