Qatar Charity (QC), through its office in Kosovo and with the support of benevolent people in Qatar, implemented 470 humanitarian and developmental projects in 2023, benefiting over 80,000 persons from impoverished communities, a statement said Sunday.Additionally, QC continued to provide social care for 3,500 sponsored orphans, students, individuals with special needs and poor families, as part of the "Rofaqa" initiative that focuses on issues concerning children and orphans worldwide.These projects were completed in co-ordination with the ministries and government institutions in Kosovo, in line with their developmental strategy to combat poverty. This was achieved through the signing of 20 executive agreements with the bodies concerned in the country, which enhances the credibility of QC and the role of its projects in sustainable development and support for vulnerable groups in Kosovo.The projects implemented by QC in Kosovo include 160 wells, 290 economic empowerment projects, 13 projects in the fields of education, culture, health and social housing, and seven projects in the humanitarian and relief domains.
