Qatar strongly condemned the Israeli aggression against the city of Jenin in the West Bank, which led to the fall of a Palestinian martyr, as well as the storming of Al Aqsa Mosque by dozens of settlers, and performing Talmudic rituals in its courtyards, considering these attacks a new episode in the series of continuous and horrific crimes against the defenseless Palestinian people."It also represented at the same time, a provocation to the feelings of more than two billion Muslims around the world, and a flagrant violation of the international law and resolutions of international legitimacy."In a statement , the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of the fading opportunities for peace and the widening of the cycle of violence due to the continuous Israeli escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories. It also stressed the need for the international community to move urgently to provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people, and to oblige Israel to stop its flagrant violations of international law and force it to respect the decisions of international legitimacy.The Ministry renewed Qatar's firm stance on the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the fraternal Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.According to AFP, Israeli forces onn Thursday killed the Palestinian militant and shot a health worker during the raid on Jenin."Mustafa al-Kastouni, 32, was killed after being shot in the head, chest and abdomen by the occupation (Israeli forces) during an aggression on Jenin," the Palestinian health ministry said in a statement.Mahmud Saadi, director of the Palestinian Red Crescent in Jenin, told AFP that two people were injured in the raid, including a female medic who was shot in the chest and kidney. She is in a critical condition.
