The Royal Mint announced that production of a new £5 coin to commemorate the wedding of Prince William to his fiancee Kate Middleton. The coin is designed by Mark Richards, a Fellow at the Royal Society of British Sculptors. The coin — which will cost collectors £9.99 to purchase and features an image of the couple in profile — has been approved by William, Queen Elizabeth and the
government.
