The National Archives of Qatar celebrated Arab Document Day, observed annually on October 17, reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding the nation’s documentary memory and preserving Qatar’s historical heritage. This ensures that the nation’s stories and historical evidence remain alive in the consciousness of future generations.  On this occasion, the National Archives highlighted the significance of documents in preserving history and chronicling the nation’s journey. As authentic records of past events and milestones, these documents serve as a vital resource for fostering awareness of national identity and connecting new generations to their historical roots.  The National Archives adopted the theme, “Stories of the Past Remain Preserved Between the Lines,” underscoring the value of documents as a repository that safeguards the past’s details and protects them from being lost to time.
