Emergency, ambulance services to work as usual during Eid holidays
MoPH, HMC announce working hours during Eid

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) have announced working hours in various departments and offices during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.In a statement Tuesday, HMC said outpatient clinics and the Urgent Consultation Service will be closed from Wednesday until April 27, and reopen on April 30.The National Mental Health Helpline will operate Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 8pm. It will be closed from April 21 until April 25. From April 26 to 29, the helpline will operate from 9am to 2pm, and return to normal operating hours from April 30.The Pharmacy Home Delivery Service will be closed from today until April 27 and reopen on April 30.The 16000 Government Healthcare Hotline will continue to operate 24/7.HMC said emergency services will continue to function 24 hours - as usual - throughout the holiday period. The Paediatric Emergency Centres will also operate 24 hours during the holiday period, as usual, for medical emergencies involving children under the age of 14 years.Besides, the Ambulance Service will continue to operate normal services during this period for people requiring emergency medical assistance.The HMC Blood Donor Center at the West Energy Center will be closed on April 21 and 22, and reopen from April 23 to 27, from 10am to 8pm. It will again close on April 28 and reopen on April 29, operating from 10am to 8pm.Those with enquires can contact 44391081 or 44391082.Meanwhile, the MoPH has announced the working hours at birth registration offices and the Department of Medical Relations and Treatment Abroad during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.The ministry explained that applications for the issuance of birth certificates for newborns during the Eid holiday will be received electronically only through the registration link through its website: https://eservices.moph.gov.qa/bcmoi/faces/informantWizard.xhtmlThe MoPH said visitors can collect birth certificates through the Newborns Registration Office at the Women's Wellness and Research Center from 8.30am to 12 noon, or by delivery via Qatar Post.The service of issuing death certificates will also be provided at the Office of Human Services throughout the Eid al-Fitr holiday, from 8.30am to 12 noon, the official Qatar News Agency reports. Receiving applications for the Births and Deaths Committee will be suspended during the Eid holiday.As for appointments for receiving patients from the Medical Relations and Treatment Abroad Department at the MoPH building, this will be done from today until April 27 from 9am to 11.45pm, except for Friday and Saturday.Enquiries related to treatment abroad are received via the hotline 33559950. Patients can also track the status of the transaction and travel procedures through the electronic system via the link that is sent to them by text message at the beginning of the transaction.
