Attorney-General meets chief prosecutor of Kenya

HE the Attorney General Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, currently visiting Nairobi, met with the Chief Prosecutor of Kenya Noordin Hajji, in Nairobi. During the meeting, they discussed topics of common interest and reviewed the judicial and legal systems of Kenya and the work of the Kenyan Public Prosecution as well as the activities of Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission. The two sides also reviewed the areas and programme of work of the Public Prosecution Training Institute, and a presentation on the future plan of the Kenyan public prosecutors and the expansion they intend to carry out.

HE al-Marri also met with Attorney General of Kenya Kihara Kariuki. The two sides reviewed the legal and judicial co-operation between Qatar and Kenya at various levels, and discussed ways of strengthening this co-operation.The attorney-general signed a training and technical support agreement between the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Centre in Doha with the Kenyan Public Prosecution.
