An Islamic State fighter deported by Turkey isstranded in a buffer zone between the Greece and Turkish borders, theprivate DHA news agency reports.Showing a video of the man between the two border gates, DHA saidthat he is "supposed to be American," and was captured duringTurkey's offensive in north-eastern Syria launched last month.Turkey on Monday said it had deported the first foreign Islamic Statefighter, a US citizen.According to DHA, the Greek authorities wouldn't accept the IslamicState suspect, who was taken to a Turkish border checkpoint atEdirne, in north-western Turkey. Greek officials sent him back on foot to Turkey, who refused toaccept him. In the video, he can be seen walking about and waving hishands in the buffer zone.
