Qatar Charity donates two patient transport vehicles to HMC

Qatar Charity has handed over two patient transport vehicles to Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) to support its efforts in providing the best healthcare services to all members of the community.The delivery of the vehicles came under the donation contract signed by QC with HMC. The pact was inked by Yousuf bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, CEO of Qatar Charity, and Ali Abdul Qader al-Janahi, acting assistant general manager of HMC.Under the agreement, QC donated two vehicles, which will be used to convey patients, the elderly, and people with special needs.This donation reflects the depth of the community partnership between the institutions of the State and civil society organisations in supporting the development efforts in the country and responding to the needs of society.This contribution comes within the framework of the prolonged co-operation between Qatar Charity and HMC in implementing many different programmes and activities for the benefit of the community, organising blood donation campaigns, holding events for the elderly and people with specials, treating patients from low-income families, and conducting surgeries for sick and wounded Syrian refugees at the Amal Hospital in Reyhanl?, a town in Turkey, near the border with Syria.
