Qatar Airways opens new ward at KHCC Jordan

Qatar Airways commemorated the opening of its new ward at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in Amman, Jordan, with a special ceremony on Tuesday, held under the patronage of Prince Talal bin Mohamed, Special Adviser to King Abdullah II.
Following the inauguration of the ward, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive HE Akbar al-Baker and other representatives of the airline attended the King Hussein Cancer Foundation’s (KHCF) 2019 Hope Gala Event.Supported by Qatar Airways as a Diamond Sponsor and Official Airline Partner, the gala aimed to raise funds to support the vital work of KHCF.The ward's opening was attended by HE al-Baker alongside the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Qatar to Jordan, Sheikh Saud bin Nasser al-Thani, Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthäus and other dignitaries and senior representatives from Qatar Airways.
