Shura Council Speaker leaves Belgrade for Doha

HE the Speaker of Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud left the Serbian capital, Belgrade, Friday for Doha.

The Shura Council Speaker and his accompanying delegation participated in the 141st assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the related meetings that lasted for five days.The assembly discussed several topics, including the work of parliaments to maintain the international legal order. It also discussed good practices that contributed to the maintenance and strengthening of the international legal system and how these practices could be further highlighted, as well as other relevant topics.
