Al Wakrah Municipality hosts food safety workshop

Al Wakrah Municipality recently organised a workshop on food safety and consumer protection as part of its efforts to raise awareness of the workers and operators of restaurants and food establishments about the health risks of consuming food products that are not handled properly. The workshop was delivered in Arabic with simultaneous translation in both English and Urdu. The participants, on their part, wished that more such workshops be held in order to improve the level of food safety at their workplaces as well as to learn about the latest updates in the field, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment said in a statement.
